General:
This song is my prayer to the Sun. I really wanted to mix the futuristic with the ancient for a processional-pop hybrid.
Production:
The production mimics the path of the rising Sun. The song starts with only a giant drum and a choir of me and me clones. Slowly a bass comes in, the voices keep thickening. By the second verse, the synth enters gradually. By the bridge we reach an instrumental climax with a piercing solar ancient-sounding string.
Lyrics:
'Sol' is a transformational prayer to the Sun. We start by melting the darkness of the winter months, the past selves we don't need anymore, and then comes summer to take us. We pray for a long life, a sunny outlook, and enough fresh air to cool us back down.
Codex Crystals:
This Artifact fully gives in to the Radiant Texture with E1, E5, E9. The song is luminous, fierce, and wise. I also wanted to add a strong liquid character (E4) to counter the Radiant with some Strange.
